SIM is a privately owned mechanical construction company, specialised in the fabrication and erection of piping, structural steel, tanks and installation of rotating/static equipment and associated hoisting activities.

 

SIM was established in the year 2000 by a management group with 30 years experience in the mechanical construction field, especially matured in important projects performed abroad.
 

The company is based on the east coast of Sicily, in one of the most important European Industrial Petrolchemical areas, between Catania and Siracusa. This location has many logistical advantages such as: Catania airport at about 45 km, Punta Cugno sea port and yard at about 10 km and the main gate opened on the National road.

 

SIM's possibilities stretch-out all over the world. SIM's qualified staff has experience in Europe, South America, Africa and the Middle East.

The home based prefabrication yard is 12.000 m2, with a covered and protected area of 1.300 m2. SIM is independent from suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
